Director
Greg Shinbur is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Caesars Entertainment, the global leader in gaming and hospitality. His pronouns are he/him/his.

As the Director of DEI, Greg provides vision, strategy and operational execution to foster inclusion and equity for all people in the Caesar Entertainment workplace. His team’s strategies address education and partnerships; the environments in which employees work; community building; professional development and advancement; retention and succession planning; and recruitment.

Greg has over 25 years of leadership experience. The majority of his recent of his career has focused on equity in workforce development, supplier diversity, employee resource groups, corporate social responsibility, and corporate partnerships.

Prior to Caesars Entertainment, Greg was the Vice President of Corporate Relations for the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) where he built strong partnerships with companies to drive the development and execution of diverse and sustainable supply chains, diversity and inclusion best practices, and employee resource group strategies. At NGLCC, Greg led procurement and corporate advisory committees focused on sharing DEI best practices. He also co-managed multiple industry workgroups that included participants of both corporations and diverse certified suppliers.

In addition to creating inclusive workplaces and business strategies, Greg has a passion for building the next generation of professionals. As the Director of Corporate Relations for YearUp, a nonprofit dedicated to closing the opportunity divide for young adults in the workforce, Greg served as an adviser to corporate human resource executives on strategies to advance diverse workforces by implementing inclusive internship programs. Greg’s favorite aspect of his role at YearUp was the connection he made with young professionals and the opportunity to mentor young adults to set them up for long-term success.

Greg believes that every person at an organization has a role in creating a more inclusive and engaging workplace and has the passion for self-development and learning to challenge and empower how people think and operate with an inclusive approach. Greg holds a bachelor degree in Business Management. He resides in Maryland with his spouse Chris, two daughters and grandchildren.
